Additional Information§ 91.01 ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY REFERENCE. The City of Oakdale Animals and Fowl Ordinance is hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this code the same as if set forth in full herein. A copy of the full text of the ordinance is available at the Office of the City Clerk. (Ord. 2008-018, passed 12-22-08) Section 7.50 Definition of Household Pets. Animals or birds ordinarily kept in a dwelling unit for company or pleasure and not for profit, trade, or food production. Household pets shall not include horses, cows, goats, sheep, other equine, bovine, or ruminant animals, pigs, swine, predatory wild animals, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigeons, game birds, fowl which normally constitute an agricultural use, poisonous reptiles, and bees. Section 7.51 Keeping of Household Pets; Keeping or Raising Animals or Birds for Food. It shall be unlawful within the city to keep, harbor, or maintain any animals other than those defined as household pets in Section 7.50 of the animal control ordinance. It is unlawful to harbor or maintain, keep, and raise animals or birds for food purposes.
