Well-written and I really liked the fact that it got a 1-year update.
This coop is splendidly well-ventilated and has many good features but got downgraded a star for lacking plans and for being wasteful in having so many dimensions that require odd cuts of the bought wood framing instead of working with the standard multiples of 4-feet that lumber comes in.
The gasket keeping the leaks out of the nestbox hinge is splendid and the feeder would be a VERY clever design in a larger coop where it could be better-protected from weather intrusion.
The fly problem was very surprising in a coop this well-ventilated. I suspect that the issue was an inadequate volume of litter for the number of chickens.
Kudos for finding a solution that works and explaining it so that others with similar problems can try it.
