Many people think treats are BAD for chickens and that you should not feed them to your flock but treats are not bad for your chickens as long as you don't feed them to much hear are some treats for your flock...
- 1 trail mix-sprinkles
- get a plastic zip lock bag and put a half a cup of sun flower seeds and a hand full of millet
- then get dried meal worms and put as much as you want!
- hot day ice cake-put what ever comes to mind where i live it gets very very hot and so do my chickens and i like to give them this treat that keeps them cool and happy...
- get a bunt pan and put some caned corn caned beans bananas strawberry's and any thing else you want then put water in the pan then put them in the freezer until they freeze so they are like Popsicle's!or you can do them as ice cubes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!View attachment 1499433 View attachment 1499431
- yogurt chicken treat
- get small bowl and put 1 cup of yogurt and half a cup of fruit you can also put trail mix -sprinkles on top
