can I take my duck out of the incubator?

My in-laws have always hatched our ducks for us and the would leave them in for a few hours until they was dry and then he would move them under a light in a box with food and water. I would say I don't see why you can't move it from there to under a heat lamp to help it stay warm and keep the heat lamp on all the time.
