ducks not laying eggs

i have 18 ducks all female they layed about 15 to 18 a day until July the it went down to 5 or 6 a day and still haven't come back to laying like before is this normal they are just turning a year old .... any suggestions

It sounds like it's just because of the days getting shorter. Ducks don't lay in winter unless you have an artificial light to "lengthen" the days.

i would agree but this started in July when we had full sun light and longer days im new to this so appreciate any advise thanks

Are they molting? They don't lay when they're molting, either. I think my ducks started slowing down in July. Then they started molting. Now they are finished molting, but the days are too short.
