I know this is a shot in the dark but I live in Centertown Missouri, population 220 or something. It's between Jefferson City and California Missouri. My boyfriend just told me that we aren't supposed to have chickens (of which I have six) and I can't find anything on this subject anywhere. And I looked prior to getting them. Any help is appreciated.

Go to your city building and ask what the ordinance is. Or have someone you know go ask. It's probably more like no roosters or the chickens must be penned, something like that.
