Hi all,
With the UK Bird Flu warning, I am planning on moving our 3 chickens into our green house for the next 30 days - its the only in door structure that we have. Its about 8 feet by 10 feet, so I think it is fine size wise, and we have never used chemicals in there, so it should be safe. There is a raised bed, giving them soil to dig through.
My concern is that they are used to a large outside run - what can I do to help reduce stress and boredom. I was planning on hanging up lots of things for them to peck at, setting up a perch etc. Is there anything else I should be doing to help them adjust and reduces stress?
