These eggs were gathered within a couple of hours from being laid, coated with petroleum jelly and submerged in a crock filled with a solution of water saturated with pickling salt and lime, then stored in the root cellar. That was in October of 2012, 23 months ago. Aside from being a little runny, they appear to be useable.

Amazing, Western Edge, Can you give us a amounts used in the solution?
