Whoa! It looks like a turkey emu!!! So cute!

I don't have much experience with peafowl... it does kind of resemble a turkey but... not entirely. It has no caruncles (even hens have them), no dewlap and no snood. Eyes are kind of big, ears are kind of small and the beak is a little bit more pointed than a turkey's. The feathers kind of look turkey-ish... though it looks like its molting. What a neat bird you have there!

Did it just wander in or where did it come from?

Have you posted these pictures anywhere else in the forum? Maybe someone in the peafowl section would know??

The bird is not mine!
Susane (Northern CA) bought as a peacock from a peacock breeder who has no turkeys! ..... All this things ... it's a mystery!
I know .... no caruncles , .... no dewlap and no snood.
The color totally blue it's unusual .... they use to be ping/red !
and with bristles!

It would be nice to do a test .... move it away from its "brothers" and if the calls are like that sound record ..... it's a turkey!

Does she have guineas?

Ask if she has guineas. I house turkey hens with mature peacocks, have seen them mate and none of their eggs were fertile.
