I got the roost painted (with Deckover to match) and installed. I put Mr. Mister up there to see what he would do. Later that day I added the PDZ and built a ramp for him.

I am sooo excited! Through the window you can almost see the framed welded wire screen I built to give the girls good ventilation while finishing everything up. Like a screen door, except I have to put it there every morning when I open the door. Can't wait for the run to be done!

Here is the window I added in the door! I removed the insulation and made the rough cut, framed it in, siliconed it, secured it, and done!

The girls are getting bigger, we installed the feeder and waterer. We got a 2 month old rooster and thought he would be the only one using them right now, as he is quite a bit bigger. Again, I was taught by my girls. They quit using the chick feeder/waterer and began using the bigger ones immediately!

Chickens are way messier than I envisioned, even after hearing all the reports!

I had to move them out of the garage and out of the tote way sooner than I thought I'd have to. My non-experience teaching me, I guess. I just moved their light into the shed with them.
