As you can see the house is shaded by a good sized maple tree so the girls never are exposed to excessive sun and heat.
They do love cracked corn, don't they!
Petunia laid the peach colored egg......that's using your head, keep them long and narrow.....doesn't hurt as much (I hope, anyway.)

On this side of the coop there are 3 private nest boxes that are accessible by lifting the door by its handle.
This is the back door to the coop and a window that can be left open for ventilation when needed.
On this side of the coop I have a large storage area for feed, tools, and other chicken needs.
