August 14th - Bonnie wants to be a Momma... we ordered fertile eggs for her to sit on! Asked for 3, received 4, praying that one hatches and it's a girl! ♥
August 26th: Slid her under. It's a great spot for babies!
August 26th ~ This was never planned, but all the sudden I felt the need to make a better spot for the brooding area. Gained lots of space on the bottom! Finally used an old countertop we were saving in the garage - it is so tight to the walls it needed to be smashed down and then jacked up with a car tire changing jack!
August 11th ~ finally changed out the wooden platform. This used to be a tray turned upside-down step, then flattened and it fit perfect! Much much much better than the wood.

The nest box set up = she is happily sitting on the eggs 24/7
It is the middle of August and Bonnie has been broody since June ~ trying the cold water dunk, if this doesn't work we're buying hatching eggs! She actually liked this and was floating for a while... it was probably a relief from her raging hot hormones.
There were 2 owls in the top right corner, but one fell off within days.
