But......I do have to deal with a whole lot of nails.

Procured free siding for the hen house structure. Some patching and paint once installed and it'll be fine.

9.6.2014 -- all but two roof rafters done, next up is the plywood for the roof.
Additional cost: $9 for more strong ties - ran out of what I already had.
Cost to date: $19

9.1.2014 -- My coop is taking shape. Another version of a very popular style shared on this and other sites. Footprint is 5 x 10, 5-ft back height, 6-ft front height. 4 x 5 hen house.
Hopefully the only time my best pal gets into the hen house.
Cost to date: $10.00 --used up screws on hand, had to get more.
