Sounds pretty convincing to me. I am watching one of my seven week old 'hens' (I was assured I had eight pullets!) grow to look and act more like a mature cockerel. "He" is a pretty bird, whatever. But I am a newbie. My neighbor had 7 our of 16 birds end up being males. I know what they sound like and that is pretty much it.
