Blood supply to the duodenum clearly visible. This is where most of the digestion occurs. The pancreas ( the flatter bit between the two main tubes) secretes enzymes to help digestion.

Pink duodenum is supplied first from the Gizzard. The pancreas that's down the centre secretes enzymes to help digestion
