Girl Friend is a White Rock hen from McMurray stock. She is a pest, a good layer, too smart for her own good, and miraculously keeps herself cleaner then the rest of the hens who free range over he farm. She is our "talking " hen. Yes...she bawks constantly and hums in musical tones. Once while being complemented on her beautiful white feathers we could have sworn she said "Aw...Thank You!"
