Summer 2014. This is what happens when your uncle finds out that you raise fowl. He brings peeps to your door....& later on the whole incubator full! Enter Chucky the mystery bird (could be a chicken, could be a chicken/pheasant cross...we don't know) & the 2 silkies, Mr. Fuzzy Pants & Buttercup:) My husband says if it crows or it's ugly, it's leaving. Well Chucky crows at 4wks old & my husband thinks the silkies are the ugliest things on God's green earth...but they're still here & moved in with our other spring peeps, lol;)

Summer 2014. Awe, Chucky. So cute, sweet & innocent. 5 wks later he's a little terror/knight in shining armor! Upon his first meeting with our spring chicks who are now about 13wks old he promplty strutted up to them, did a little chicken wing dance & chased them off! He & his silkies moved in with them in the "chick coop" & he's been ruling the roost ever since. The spring chicks are quadruple his size but they're so confused & intimidated by his huge personality & tiny body that they pretty much avoid him & the silkies, lol!
