The big coop we built for raising meat birds. 8' x 8', attached to a big pasture. Full sized door, clear section of roofing for a sky light, wired for electricity. Fun detail the hubby added was 6" of ventilation all around the top and the walls change what side of the 2x4s they are on halfway down to give another gap for air flow.

The nesting box on the back of the layer coop. We had to rebuild after the first nesting box sprung a leak. We also discovered that our barred rock girls needed a bit more space, so there are three boxes instead of the original four. The whole back opens up.

The layer coop. I was originally going to be a tractor but weighs too much to move.The coop part is 4' x 8' and meant for 8 birds. The run, which is kept covered in winter, is 4' x 16'. There's also an attached pasture that's about 400 square feet, if we ever shut the gate and kept them in it.
