At some point a rodent got into the runs, to eat the feed. I needed to seal up some space between two runs. Phyllis followed my every move.
My McGyver tool for collecting eggs from the other side of the coop! Made from a leftover strip of wood and a plastic container, and some elegant duct tape. Barn red paint fixes everything.
The nesting boxes are accessible from the window, but I found myself on the other side of the coop all the time. I made a McGyver-style contracption to get the eggs from that side of the coop :o)

Painting a trellis which became part of the chicken yard enclosure. Never underestimate the time it takes to paint a trellis...!
