The pavers are finished. Looks great. Now just need to form up the other side and pour concrete foundation. Decided to make inside of run 8' deep.

This is the front and right side of coop

The Framing
The coop/run area size will be 10' L x 5' D x 7 1/2' H
The coop size is 4' L x 5 ' D x 7 1/2' H
The nesting box size will be 12" L x 12" W x 9" H

This is the location for the coop. Back right corner of the property. It will be 8" away from fence, and about 50 feet from neighbors on both sides. Very urban living. The lot is 1/4 acre.

"In the Beginning"
The foundation and bottom of the run were going to be pavers. As I researched coops on this site and others,(very helpful by the way) I decided on using sand or River Sand. So this meant changing our plans already.

The size of the the coop area is 10' L x 5' D. We kept one side pavers, and the other side will be river sand.
