this was stuck to the vent of our Rhode Island Red. it was in one piece until we pulled it off. the white portion contained a clear liquid. She has been trying to lay the past 3 days, but hasn't. Today is she lethargic and not eating. She is always the most active and friendly chick. It is hot in Arizona, and our girls are molting and not laying much, but this is unusual behavior for her. When it is really hot, they spend the afternoon in their air conditioned hen house. We have spent $750 at the avian vet on two of our girls and promised ourselves no more. But of course she is our favorite chick. She also squirts a white milky poo. Help, what is going on????
