I'm brand new to chickens and want a mini-farm in the future(my long term goal). I want to start with chickens and a garden and one day have a bigger piece of land and have more than just chickens. I'm from NEPA and I love all things that involve being outdoors.

So I'm currently in Scranton, PA and looking to get the heck out of here! I want to be able to keep chickens and potentially other farm animals in 2025. What areas are there that allow this? I'm open to anything in PA but trying to stay more to the East to stay nearer to family.
