Yep, I'm a brand new chicken mama. My mom lives with us and mentioned that she would really like to have chickens, so we bought 6 chicks and started building a coop (I know--completely backwards!). We order 6 more, ended up bringing 7 home (not sure how that happened) and finally got the coop finished. And I LOVE the chickens!! I had no idea they would be so entertaining, and sweet, and cute and fluffy! We're thinking about making a chicken tractor next, so they can get out without having to worry about chicken hawks.

She's 7.5 weeks now. The pic was taken when she was 4 wks. We have two groups of chickens--the oldest group is 15 wks today!!

I'll tell her you said so--it'll make her happy

She's Marigold. She's always with my other BO, Buttercup, and my Leghorn, Daisy. We call them the Flower Girls lol.
