I've had the first surgery and will have the second Monday. Meanwhile, the neuropathy is ahead and I can't crochet. I'l try sewing this throw together.

The irises are beautiful. I was just admiring the one outside my window. I got my squares. I just made the last square for this afghan and discovered some of the earlier ones I made are too small and require another round. I apologize if I sent any small ones into y'all.

Writer-I have a package for you. It's two books and some yarn. It still needs to be taped and I'll try that tomorrow. If I can't get it off to the school before the 24th, I'll send it to you.

Nova-Thank you. I know that, in the big picture, I'll be ok with whatever happens and this is a time to learn patience. I'm on nerve pills now and trying to find the best combination of them and the narcotic for pain management. I see the doctor Thursday; then surgery.
