i have never had a frizzle before. I was told was 4-5 weeks. They told me it was a pullet. Her method of sexing was holding it on his back and chick was calm. ♀️ I am not convinced it’s a pullet but she the expert. Thoughts.....I think it a bantam Cochin. It was labeled bantam frizzle
I am no expert. I got a few Austra white pullets from cackle. They are a leghorn and astralorp . Mine are white with the slate looking legs. Maybe yours is as well.
I have read that. I have 4 orphingtons, 2 buffs and 2 lavenders. The two buffs have red combs the lavenders not even close. They are all the same age. So I just wasn't sure. Thank you so very much for your help! Can't wait for them to lay!!
I found a chicken feed recipe online I wanted to try. It didn't have a protein count. I am new to this so not knowledgable in this area. Could some please help me? Thank you!
This was the recipe
4 cups oats
4 cups barley
4 cups wheat
4 cups yellow spilt peas
3 cups boss
1 cup kelp
1 cup...
I bought these and were told they were pullets one is 19 weeks one is 14. I hope despite my terribl hair cut to help them be able to see the chicken walk to the coop. Do these look like pullets to you?
How often do you put ACV in your flocks water? I have been doing everyday for several months. I hope that is ok. I read people only do it a couple times a week. What is the protocol?
Thank you!
