my welsummer is sitting on 10 eggs, one has hatched out. how long until i can expect to either see more chicks or assume the other eggs are no good?? i should know this and dont remember!! thank you!! :)

she is mixing more with the flock this morning. i thought i was pretty good at minimizing dangers for my animals and this caught me off guard. thanks for the reply

i normally pick up eggs daily but she had a secret stash in the brush that hatched out. she looked so confused and spent the night waiting and wondering around. it was a hot day here and i had waterers all over the yard. i dont know why or HOW they made their way into this big water trough but...

i am so upset and sad for my hen. i found her 2 chicks dead in the horses water. what can i do to console her? anything?

yes, i am running him away from me and not backing down. i should have explained. she is in woods right here near me. during the day when they are out she is as safe as when cooped up.
