I have parrots and quail in a aviary. The bird food/feeds bag got wet so instead of throwing it away It just threw them on the ground and it grew a lot of sunflower sprouts and lettuce. Is it okay to pick up some sunflower sprouts and give to the quail to eat?

I have 4 female and 1 male in a outdoor aviary . I live in south florida so the coldest it gets is 40°f at night. I have them in a 20% protein food and no crushed oyster shells. Maybe thats why they are not laying?
