About ten weeks.

So I ordered chicks from the Welp hatchery. It was a disaster...over half arrived dead and I lost more after that but that's a story for another day. Anyway... From that order I only ended up with one Red Shouldered Yokohama. I wanted a rooster of this breed super bad. I bet it is a hen but...

I only have the two. I think I was told they are a year old. One is pure white and the black one has blue and green feathers in his wings. They have the bluish tint to their lobes and comb.

I got these roosters at the sale barn. I was told they are silkies. They don't have the puff on top of their heads though. I wonder if they got picked on by other chickens and plucked? Maybe they'll grow back or do you think they are mixed? I don't mind either way... they are cute and both...

Aren't silkies supposed to have a puff on top of their head? Do you suppose these guys got plucked? Do you think they will grow back in or are they a mixed breed?

Do smaller chicks get there feathers later than others?

Hes half the size of the others.

He is totally healthly. Beak is fine. He was born the end of may. He isn't skinny just smaller and I noticed the slower feathers. He is active love to roost.
