I had the same issue my vet friend told me to soak her bottom half in a cup of water with a splash of coconut oil in it. For 5 mins. And it came right off! Then I blow dried her and she loved that lol super fluffy afterwards and only takes a couple mins. Just make sure to not hold it too close...
