Every night, all the hens get on their perches/in their coops.. except Karen. She will wait for me and run to the door for me to pick her up and carry her to bed in her own private coop

I love chickens, but this one… is privileged and spoiled, probably more than you spoil your dogs/cats

So my girl Karen hadn’t been laying for like 10 days until I moved her back into her coop instead of 100% free range

LaterI was cleaning under my porch, i stumbled upon an egg, and another and another.. After finding 10 eggs.. I’m beyond grateful to have found them before they started stinking lol

I lost 5 pieces of our family… town forced me to remove 5 out of 9 of our therapy service birdes… I’m beyond depressed

I love my flock

It’s been a while, but we’re still doing our chicken thang lol …some of my poor girls are molting this fall… their pitiful looking haha, so these are from a couple months back.
