My two sweet girls decided to go broody about 12 days ago. With the heat of summer, I decided to go out and buy some chicks. I tried looking for bantam cochins, but couldn’t find any quickly to help them. Soooo, we found silkies.

Another box of chicks went home to their forever home.
Two BC1 Olive Eggers and 3 Calico Bantam Cochins

First incubator has 6 days left.
Second has 13 days left.
And the last one will be filled today and have 21 days to go!

Tater Bug is all done being a mom, and is now back out enjoying life free ranging!

My little Blue/Buff cochin from the hatch on November 13th. She is not growing as fast as the other hatch mates.
She got attacked by one of my other chickens and has a hole straight to her skull… so she got patched up and moved back out under her mom. All has been good!
