Hen breaking her fertile eggs; how to clean eggs?

I bought a incubator that turned out to not hold a stable temp. So as of now I decided to add extra bedding in the box to see if it had to do with just normal shell cracking or is she really pecking them to eat. Im afraid to wipe the eggs evwn though there quite a bit of yolk on them

Hen breaking her fertile eggs; how to clean eggs?

Brought some fertile eggs home for our broody hen and she has already broken and ate two. The yolk has got onto the other fertile eggs in the box. How to I clean the yolk off or do I just leave it on?

    Broody hen breaking eggs

Thanks for the info. This was the closet I could find on my issue. Would the yolk infect the egg if I cant get all the yolk off?

Her egg is in the middle. My Americana is on the top and the store bought xl in on the bottom. She went crazy before laying with tons of squawking and bullying the rest of the girls out the coop. I hope her eggs darken. What did yoir 1st C.M llok like? Share some pics

The family and I went and bought 1 silver wyandotte and 1 australop to add to our flock. Now I need to get into moment of excite of having to start over with the heat lamp and constant babysitting of these two. At what age can I introduce them to our older pullets?
