    Chick >human diseases?

I have our small rubbermaid brooder in my bedroom because that is our only option. Long story. But I was wondering if I can get any airborne sicknesses from the chicks? I wash or sanitize my hands after I handle them in anyway. Thank you

If no wounds or blood, by the sounds of it I think eggcessive is right. I would look into what they said and vitamin deficiencies.

Please help identify these common chicks.

The white and black one is definitely an australorp. I'm 95% sure the brown striped one is a speckled sussex, and the red one could be a red star as you said, or maybe rhode island or new hampshire red, or sex link. Blonde ones maybe buff orpington? I have no idea about the other black one im sorry

Should I be giving my babies niacin???

If you dissolve it in water, no. The extra niacin will just be passed through the digestive system if you dissolve in water

    Mud baths?

Anytime:) Towel is great, but hair dryer on low would work best. Also, You only have to dry them if its cold outside

    Mud baths?

My girls take mud baths all the time I've even seen them pecking at muddy water in puddles. They love it:) I would watch her though if she is going to bed wet and cold. She could get sick?
