Did you keep any additional roosters. I did not hatch any roosters at all. One out of over twenty. I need a rooster.. You never know what the percentages of sexes there will be. Anyways. They look great. Candace

I hatched two calls, I have about 10 more hatching this week. In the background are my cochins and a modern baby that hatched at the same time...:)

Lemon Blue and Brown Red Bantam Cochin eggs, I have one BR rooster, 2 LB roosters and 1 LB Sport Rooster in with 8 LB hens, 2 BR hens and 1 LB Sport. I have been hatching primarily Lemon Blue with a few Brown Reds and no LB Sports so far. I have my best fertility and hatch rate out of this...

I have red laced cornish and they make fantastic chickens, I am not sure about hatchery birds but my cornish lay surprisingly well.. Cute chick..

So cute, why can't you keep boys? I have a pen of call duck males, do the muscovies fight? I only have a single female muscovie and she is scared of my call ducks.. :)

I think calls hatch as early as the 26th day. Maybe someone with more experience hatching calls can help. Good luck.

It is in Moulton, AL will be alot of activities for children, etc.. I am going to go, It is a new show hopefully there will be a good turn out.
