I just noticed today that one of my chickens has some kind of weird parasites or eggs mostly around it's eyes. You can see them the best in the last photo. Any idea what they are? The chicken doesn't seem to be acting any different.

That was super sketchy. If they had certain questions that would 'qualify' for the coupon then they should ask those first. Instead they got all the answers they needed and THEN determined that i was not 'qualified' Thanks for letting us know it was Purina. They won't get my money now.

i just noticed on the Wazine bottle that it cautions against using it on a sick animal. Yet the chicken lady at the Feed Store recommended i do it. Now i'm worried. What do people think? Should i hold off and keep treating with ACV until she hopefully gets stronger?

I've had a real sick chicken the last week and i'm thinking that i have a worm problem. Will worming kill my already weakened chicken? I started treating my entire flock with ACV yesterday. Hopefully that will help. I was going to try Wazine today.

i was just going to ask this very question. i am inheriting a California Desert Tortoise in a month and i was wondering how it would interact with my small chicken flock. it sounds like it won't be a problem. we have a wild rabbit that frequents our backyard and the chickens completely ignore it.

Sounds like they are still in moult mode.

i think you will find breeds that tend towards the quiet side but you can never count out the personality factor. i have 9 chickens of 4 different breeds and they are all unique.

well, the Tricide-Neo is only a foot soaking for the chickens. they don't ingest any of it. i'm not sure though if it would absorb into the bloodstream through the feet?

any vets out there that could weigh in? anybody? i would think this would be an important question with the large numbers of Bumblefoot cases out there.

i guess this is actually two separate questions: #1 is it ok to eat eggs from a chicken with Bumblefoot #2 is it ok to eat eggs from a chicken being treated with Tricide-Neo?
