yap they both are still wild color both still male
sad to say they are not well marked and I would say you need to do some improvements when breeding them to get a properly marked bird

button quails are easiest sexed by the red vent feathers (other then white and some splash)
males make a air sound also -- kind of sounds like wind though a crack in door
buttons are not loud unless they are yelling across the room to the female they want to visit I would much prefer them in my house to any other quail breed!
there are 6 in the living room and 99% of the time you do not know they are there unless one of the boys feels like courting the girl he...
So it is the time of year at the wildlife rehab that all the easter gifts come in when people discover they are more work then first thought
this little one came in and we have no clue what kind of duck it is
in the picture it is the one with the black tail
