I have a ccl rooster and he was paired with a black copper maran hen and some goldline hybrid hens. The ccl×bcm produced either chipmonk or black chicks. The ccl×goldline produced all yellow chicks neary all with a white dot on head. Is there any way to tell sex in either mix?

I hatched out a few chicks from my black copper maran hen and cream crested legbar rooster. Some are black and some are brown chipmonk type. Any idea if they can be sexed?

thanks for the reply. we bought it a few weeks back as a hen but started to suspect it was a rooster as it was getting enormous. No crowing yet but then again the other cuckoo maran rooster isn't crowing yet either.
