Help! Incubator too small? Please read and help!

With a bator so small you could probably unplug it really quick and plug it into a bathroom outlet if they have externally piped. Turn on hot water in shower and steam up the room before you open it. That would be plenty of humidity I would think. Do what you need to do and close the top.

    Why is egg like this?

Guess we should have left the egg alone, it was viable or at least starting to develop. 😒 We took out two eggs that looked not to be fertile. One egg definitely wasn't but this egg had development.

    Why is egg like this?

No, nothing. And being very dark eggs it's hard to see much except that one with the dark ring

    Egg carton hatching?

Candling every other day..yes they are so full now about the only thing you can see is the air cell. I have two thermometers and both were salt tested..the run about 3% lower than reading when salt tested. Our first hatch we didn't do bad, but we had late quitters and only one that didn't make...

    Egg carton hatching?

So I see a few post about hatching in cartons... From what I was getting is that if you use a "turner'' that the eggs are on their sides then hatch them on their sides...if using a "rocker" style then place them in cut down egg carton to hatch in. This is supposed to be because of the location...

Feeding Your Chickens Crushed Egg Shells

We feed eggshell on the side because some of our hens really don't care for the pellets or the crumble they scattered it about and pick through it but they will eat the shell. Picky I guess 🤷 Then again they free range all day also
