Oh I am in Fort Wayne...lol.

We got 90 mile an hour winds in the storm, took a couple tree limbs out but all the buildings are still up. We were one of the lucky ones only lost electric for 3 hours. There are some in town that are still out.

Hasn't stopped the coons , I have trapped 10 in the last 8 days :-(

I lost one Silkie when it got to 106 here, counting myself lucky as my girlfriend lost half of her flock and they had good ventilation.

Just hatched my last incubator, and have some beautiful Americana's and Black Silkies. Am so excited. Has anyone else been having problems with there silkies? My hatch rate is good with all my other breeds but the silkies.

I am in Indiana and we are the same as you as far as trapping to protect livestock, otherwise we have to have a license. I have trapped 10 in the last 8 days. I have been over ran that is for sure. Check into the fur buyers but I think they only want them in the winter when there coats are premium.

We have been going threw a drought (Indiana) and all the predators are now feeling the effects and coming up looking for food and water. I hadn't checked all my runs and pens well enough and the coons got onto my ducks and one of the chicken pens. Being much more careful now and have fixed all...
