Big Babe just got her new pullets! One Orpington- Liz, and one Rhode Island Red- Laura. They are in seperate spaces from the larger hens and looking at each other with curiosity.

The pen looks great! They have a lot more room to stretch out!!

Most cockerels begin crowing from 4-5 months. However a few can take considerably longer, and with an occasional cockerel it can take nearly a year. [/quote- we just found out we have a cockerel!
