    Advice on injured leg?

The red marks are all on one leg, the only issue I think she has on her other foot (see image with the orange tag round her ankle) is what appears to be bumblefoot. Her perch is honestly really low in my opinion. It’s only 10cm max off the floor. We have one of those nestera chicken coops...

    Advice on injured leg?

It doesn’t feel hot or anything, fairly normal from what I’ve seen with her. Have checked her whole leg and there’s no evidence of any breaks.

    Advice on injured leg?

All the others are fine, they’re a lot more skittish than their mum but may have to assess them all individually now. I hope it’s not the case for flu 🥲

    Advice on injured leg?

Yeah overall she’s perfectly fine, still making her little noises, happy to eat and has her curios nature still. Advice on injured leg?

She has been breathing a little heavier for a while now but it’s not like she’s gasping for air or mouth breathing. No sign of any respiratory distress. I’ve just put it down to age tbh.

Hi all, was just looking for advice on my skyline Dippy. At the end of last week I noticed she was limping and I’ve been keeping an eye on her but I can’t figure out what’s caused it. She’s quite a heavy girl and I just know for a fact she’s got what I suspect to be bumblefoot on the foot that...

    Chick poop

Do you think I should give the medication to mum and the other two chicks as well to prevent them from getting it??

    Chick poop

On Monday we introduced 3 chicks to our broody hen and all have settled in well. They are approx 4 days old. I’m concerned for one of the chicks as they seem a lot sleepier than the others (the others regularly come out for food and play on top of mum etc) but this one chick prefers to stay...
