We have added to the flock! We went to TSC to pick up some supplies for the chicks and found the tins of animals. We picked up three little Rouen Ducklings. We converted our 75 gallon fish tank into a brooder. We were having some problems figuring out how to...

Ok, we will start our adventure off from the top. We have recently started our seeds for our garden when I picked up Mother Earth News from Lowes. There was an article featuring chickens and how beneficial they are to your garden. So after much deliberation we...
Do you know how old? From what I am seeing she looks a lot like my little BSL bantams, and their combs are exactly like those. Mine are 7 weeks and My rooster thats the same size and age is way more pronounced. So just in comparison to mine, yours is a hen I will try an upload my hens pics...
IT's so cute. The wings look exactly the same. I am trying to go through my pics to see if I have one of his. I also refer to almost everything as a he. I hate calling living animals or people (unborn babies) IT. So dont worry just yet. I couldnt tell until they were older. Yours is a little...

I got them from a farm. The lady told me " This is a farm, I dont know when they were born, what they are, and they lay brown and white eggs ". If I go by the parents and she was telling me the truth about white and brown, I thought they couldnt be ee's. Do ee's only lay colored eggs?
You think they are all EE's? I really dont care, just wondering what color eggs Im going to have. Also Out of the 11 I got from the farm, 5 are Roos. The black pictured is a Roo, the white picutred is a roo but I cant figure out what happened to his comb, why its small and looks like to combs...
