I have 2 Easter Eggers. For almost a year they haven't laid eggs.
The seem to have gone through 2 molting periods this year.
They stopped laying actually when I got rid of my rooster.
Will they lay again do you think?

My Easter Eggers ladies stopped laying last winter and It lasted almost 6 months.
Two weeks ago they started to lay again. And now have stopped again as they are molting again.
Are my ladies done laying or is there something else going on?
I have Pekings 2 female ducks and 2 drakes. I plan on keeping a pair of 1 drake and 1 female. Will they be ok together? I don't want 2 drakes or 2 females and all I am allowed is 2 ducks.
Just want to be sure he won't be too hard on her.

Since I was unable to get small oyster shells I've been straining the hens oyster shells. But, its a lot of work. And I'm almost out.
By chance can I feed my month old ducklings crushed chicken shells?

Yes, still cold out with lots of snow yet. I am raising them in a brooder in my house.
They are Pekins. My house is 71. I have room to adjust their lamp then.
