Unfortunately they didn't have any pullets at the moment, and we don't have the space/time for day old chicks right now. We have 4 other non-Araucana hens, which will lay lovely white, beige and brown eggs. It's just me wanting an Araucana as we had a wonderful Araucana hen at our old place...

UPDATE: Both Araucanas turned out to be boys, unfortunately. Scrambles started crowing yesterday. They will be returned to the farm where they came from, and I will have to live without blue/green eggs :-( here some pics of the boys now at 14 weeks: Omlette Scrambles

Ah, forgot to mention we are in Australia, Australian Araucana are recognised rumpless and rumped, so that's not a red flag :-) will post again once we know more about the sex of our little chicken friends.

Thanks rebrascora, not surprised they are not pure bred, however that's what they were sold as. Hopefully they lay blue eggs though, should one be a girl!

Thank you, lets hope the other three are girls :-) We've also got two 2 week old Araucanas and having to wait several more weeks to find out if they are boys or girls is really testing my patience :-)
