As long as the JG didn't have any dominate white in it. The best way to tell if your hen is silver is if it has a Columbian pattern. Otherwise you are taking chances. Same with white rocks and leghorns.

No I'm breeding for sex links Colombian with wheaten is what I need I have some Light Sussex that are Wheaten but the breed doesn't have yellow legs

So give me a "cull"wheaten cockerel so can put yellow legs on my female Colombian sexlink breeders. Brown eb muddies the down color. Yes sir perfect in every way except wheaten I'm not breeding SOP birds (yet)
