Here's a little idea for giving chickens a treat during hot a hot day. All you'll need is a muffin tin and some canned corn. Just pour the corn into the muffin tin (adding more water if needed) and freeze! Not only do they get something to peck at and keep themselves busy, but they also get some...

    Weird Chicken

My grandpa recently told me that one of our chickens seems to be hiding her head, and is not coming out. He's also told me that she has "white stuff around her butt" but has layed an egg and doesn't appear to be dying. Help?

Is it safe to put a zip-tie on a chickens leg? (not my idea)

We have new chicks and they came with their mom. For some reason, my grandpa wants to mark her by putting a zip-tie on her leg so we know which one she is, just like they put those rings on parrots. But I'm scared that it will hurt her. Is it a good idea?

    ???

One of my hens has laid this weird rubbery shell-less egg. I have no idea which hen. Is something wrong with my chicken, or did the egg just not have enough time to develop? ~hennypenny95

(My chickens have their own special place only for them, so the dogs don't attack them) She escapes a bunch of times a day. I keep putting her back in the pen every time she escapes, but she just jumps right back out...

    Double Trouble!

I have a 6 month old Barred Rock rooster named Rooker who has attacked me. He doesn't fully attack, but he did jump into my leg and tried to claw me through my boot (Not hard, but hard enough for me to tell). He has also fluffed his neck up at me when i touched one of his Rhode Island Red girls...
