    Cooler had laying around, Some hardware cloth, a broiler pan, some aquarium tubing, pc fan, 40w bulb, some pvc, two cartons, and a stc1000 digital temp controller 48hrs temp was constant low 99 high 100 so pretty good. Humidity at 30% going for the dry hatch method bc apparently when it rains...

    Hello all well we set 11 eggs 19 days ago this morning woke up to one out and about and another had zipped and is out now. still waiting for the others to hatch. And testing out my homemade Bator with 24 wish me luck

    I was thinking about cutting a 5"x5" hole in the ends cover with hardware cloth then plexiglass so in the summer just remove the plexiglass and there would be a breeze also put a 24"x6" window the same way but it's on the front side where the sun rises. Any suggestions this good plan or bad?

    Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome :) and today didn't collect eggs till a few minutes ago and wallah 4 eggs in there. I was very happy. what's everyones opinion on windows in your coops I thought about adding one or two. the four closest to the end are the new ones

    Im a new chicken owner and my flock is PR but i do not know which strain? they are supposed to be last springs hatchlings idk honestly. so far ive tried to make them comfortable and whatnot. so far i have recieve 5 beautiful light brown eggs in 2 days but i believe they have stopped now only got...
