I am so sorry for your loss. :(. I had the same thing happen to me. Three full grown guineas disappeared one morning and I never found even a single feather. :(

Thanks! I do put them up at night and they free range during the day. They usually stay out until almost dark, but I put them up early tonight. They are NOT happy either :-). We have coyotes all around and I saw a half grown fox in the edge of my yard a couple of weeks ago. We have roaming dogs...

I am blaming myself, but they love to be out of the coop. They are seven weeks old so I hoped they were big enough not to be such a temptation. Live and learn but it is so heartbreaking because you get attached.

I can't answer, but I can say that my new ones are the very same way. From what I've read, I don't think they'll ever be socialized the way chickens can be.
