I am stumped on identifying some chicks. Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a barred rock and a dominque as a chick? Everything that I have found shows them being identical as chicks. Thanks
Yeah, I have been debating if these are actually hens. Oh well though. The one chicken I posted looks really nice with those colors. I was just curious what breed they are. Thanks for the help yall.
I recently got two young hens a about a month and half ago. Both were completely black colored when I got them. Well, I have noticed they are getting a lot of brown on them and one has a slight touch of green. I was originally thinking black sex link. Any ideas?
Thanks for all the help. I don't really have any plans for them, except feeding them. I noticed the leg issue too, but I wasn't sure what it was. I am going try and treat it tomorrow. That yellow rooster is probably the friendliest chicken I have. And no, the red ones do not have feathered feet.

My friend gave me some roosters and I just can not identify them. The big yellow and black one is probably the prettiest one I got, and I have no idea what breed he is. I also have three of the red and blue ones. Any help identifying these two breeds are appreciated.
