Greetings - will you tell me about the Pasteurella multocida that you were dealing with - I have a group that develop a thick wall of mucous that obstructs their breathing (windpipe) - I successfully remove and they are fine for about 10-14 days -- and then treat again - I have treated with Oxy...
Hi Mary - yes, we have othr banties and they are fine also - I believe it is bc of her frizzle - I have multiple feeders/waterers for them and they free range in the yard - I make sure that the feeder and waterer are low enough - and I have seen her eat/drink in both. I am getting a heat plate...
I have a frizzle bantam bobtail cochin that I hatched this year..she's not quite 5 months old. She is with her flock and it's obvious that she is not holding her own temp wise...yesterday I was out there and she was standing in the coop in the ONLY little ray of sunshine! I've brought her into...
Great idea - I also just pour over their dry food and that works alone, but I was wondering about liquid stevia in their water to boost consumption. I can't find anything about it being an issue for the birds - THOUGHTS? Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Looking for some insight! I have 2 splash hens and 2 white hens and with a Splash Roo. I'm not able to find a breeding chart that will show me what I'll hatch from the 2 white hens....I don't think more splash, and would appreciate insight...I'm only breeding the whites for fun. Thanks!
My last hatch I had some chicks turn eggs over that had already pipped and the chicks i n the eggs died.
Has anyone left the egg grate in during a hatch? I'm hoping that it will allow the eggs to remain stable and not be shifted everywhere...Thanks
Greetings!
I have a hatch going on right now and there are a number of eggs that have pipped at the bottom of the egg ! Should I be concerned?
I am using the Nurture Right 360 incubator. Thanks in advance -
